I read this article as well and it stood out to me too. As someone who has used Facebook ads for both my employer and my own business it is quite shocking how many categories there are to choose from when tailoring your audience. You can choose relationship status, children, pet owners, age range, political affiliation and more. And this isn’t like only big businesses can do this, anyone with a page can boost posts through their ad system as long as they get approved.
